Hello and Welcome to Knits4Gifts! My name is Laura, in my 40s 'age', Married, Mother of two beautiful twin girls. Since 2005 we live on the beautiful island of Cyprus, in Limassol, just a perfect location to have daily views of the Mediterranean Sea and enjoy at least 330 sunny days per year. I learned how to knit and crochet in school, during 90s. In 2013 I re-discovered the love for ‘handmade’ while I knitted dresses for my twin girls - I wanted to knit them something with my hands, something to wear, in other words I wanted to ‘insert’ some love in the fabric. I know it sounds just like a text, but I sincerely believe that wearing a handmade item it's special and unique. At that point I realized that I will not give up knitting again, and I also promised myself that each item knitted by my hands will be from a good fiber combination, as less acrylic as possible, something special to last. Therefore, I can assure you that each item handknitted by me has a bit of happiness added during ‘production’ process. Here, at Knits4Gifts you will find not only hand knitted items, we are also using machine to knit simple scarfs (as it will take much less time than hand knitting); we also offer machine embroidery; recently we became ‘HiyaHiya Europe' Stockist (Knitting Tools and Accessories); and more. I believe that we, as individuals, are capable to create unforgettable moments for us and for the people around. This is Knits4Gifts aim, to 'offer' around memorable happy moments with handmade/unique items.
